West Australian born and bred, Ash is a proud West Aussie with a lifelong passion for understanding and creating innovative machinery. Pulling things apart and trying to understand how they worked seemed to be part of Ash since he was born. At just 8 years old, you would find Ash playing on CAD in his spare time to design and build. It seemed natural to progress to a Mechanical Fitter and 1st Class Machinist trade, and Ash’s career has since spanned diverse industries such as Mining, OEM Manufacturing and Civil. Wanting to learn more, Ash obtained a Diploma of Mechanical Engineering, leading to working on projects such as the successful design and build of 6 EMT100 custom vehicles. Ash enjoys designing solutions that are more efficient to manufacture, creating cost reductions across both labour and materials. Starting Mech3D in 2018, Ash is proud of how the business has evolved from 3D Printing and Design into a fully integrated Engineering and Fabrication provider. Having a technical brain and innate ability to problem solve, Ash brings incredible value to the Board of Directors in developing the systems, process and people to deliver innovate solutions to our customers.
